Job Search Tips

EduMany.com offers many easy & efficient search tools to connect with the employers & job opportunities you are looking for.

Simple Search

  • Enter the desired job-title, keywords in the keyboard search box to search for exact word/phrases. Punctuation and special characters are ignored. You can also choose the right keyword(s) from the suggestions list available.
  • Choose from years of work experience, location, industry & function.
  • Click on the 'Search' button to get the desire results.

Advance Search

The functionality helps you add more filters specific to your requirement, like Salary, Company type and freshness. Try to use as many filters as you can, in order to reach the right search results in a single search.

Job Search Results

  • The jobs are sorted according to their relevance by default. The most relevant ones appear on the top. You could opt for sorting the jobs purely on freshness also.
  • Refinement is available on freshness, top employers, location, salary, company type and experience.

Other Job browsing options

  • Additional browsing options allow you to browse jobs on the basis of Function, Industry, Location, Companies, Placement Consultants and International Jobs.

Keywords are words, phrases, and terms that you can enter to describe educational and professional experiences, skills, and company names. They are used to search for Jobs containing those words in their Descriptions. By typing in various keywords, you will maximize your chances of retrieving Jobs that most accurately match your search.

Start your job search with the keywords that relate to the type of job you are looking for. They could be the skills that you have, designations of the jobs that you want, or the qualifications that you hold. In addition you could be giving the city name, company that you want to work for etc.

Example

  • If you are a graduate, with some experience in an education Institute looking for a job in Delhi – you should give "Teacher" in the keyword box and Delhi in the Location search.
  • If you are a graduate, with some experience in a preschool looking for a job in Bangalore – you should give "Preschool" in the keyword box and Bangalore in the Area search.
  • If you are a qualified administrator, with the required technical qualifications – you should give - "administrator" in the keyword box.

Tips

  • Multiple search words will give you more results.
  • If you are a graduate, with some experience in a preschool looking for a job in Bangalore – you should give "Preschool" in the keyword box and Bangalore in the Area search.
  • If you have entered a typo or a mistake in the search box, an automatic alert will be displayed on the results page with a possible correction. For example: If you have typed ‘Englh’, the system will give an alert saying ‘English’.

The keywords that you give are searched for in the Title of the job, Key Skills asked for in the job and the entire text of the job description in that order.

Advanced Job Search

Keywords

The keywords that you provide could be the skills that you have, designations of the jobs that you want, or the qualifications that you hold. In addition you could be giving the city name, current company name, etc.

Example: Fresher, English, Computer Programming, Tutor, Marketing manager online Hyderabad, Service Manager Delhi, Telesales Bangalore outbound, etc.

Job location

Provide the name of the desired city for job. In case, you are not particular then choose Any Location.

Total experience

Give a numeral like 1, 4, 8, etc. Do NOT type in with decimals like 1.5 etc. If you are looking for a job in the IT industry and have less years of experience in it as compared to your total years of work experience, then only enter the experience in the IT industry specifically.

Example: If you have a total of 8 years’ experience, but have been in the Teaching industry only for the last four years- then type 4 in the box.

Company type

Company Jobs are posted by corporates trying to fill the positions for their own requirements.

Placement Agencies

Jobs are those posted by consultants or agencies who have been hired by corporates to fill their requirements. Choose All option for seeing the maximum number of results.

To access your Profile, log in to your account, and click on My EduMany or My Profile .

Try to keep your profile up to date. If there are changes to your career, interests, education, or other details in your profile, remember to update your information to keep the personalized services coming.

Clear Cache and Cookies

Many of the common technical errors that occur on websites can be solved by clearing the Temporary Internet Files (Cache) and Cookies within your browser. If you are receiving an error message or a page is not loading, clearing the cache and cookies is the first step to take. How do I clear my cache and cookies?

The following website (not powered or hosted by EduMany) includes links to instructions for clearing/resetting/refreshing cache for various browsers. For additional help or information, please check your browser’s Help menu.

Yes, email address and mobile number is needed to verify and complete your registration and also ensure account safety.

This happens if the internet connection is slow or has a drop in connectivity. Please close the browser window and open a new browser again and login.

Registration

Click 'My Account' on the top right corner of the page and you will see a registration form. This will take you hardly 2 minutes to fill up. Just submit your information, verify your email address and mobile number and enjoy the various benefits of being an EduMany member.

Editing your EduMany account profile information is very simple. Here's how to do it:

Email id cannot be changed as it is mapped to your account at the time of registration. However, you can choose to add your alternate email id in your ‘Personal Information’ section. The other option is to simply create a new EduMany account with your new email id that you wish to use.

To change your password, Go to your account homepage and click 'Forgot password'. Now you can change or replace your new password and save.

You can update your profile details. Please remember to click ‘Save’.

You can change or update your ‘Communication Preferences’. This is useful mail, especially delivered to your inbox to serve your information needs such as college application deadlines, exam dates, prep tips etc. based on your profile. In case you no longer need this service, you may uncheck the box under ‘Communication Preferences’.

You can update your profile image. Please remember to click ‘Save’.

No. Apart from your full name, mobile no. and email id, the rest of the fields are optional. However, the page asks for only necessary information and adding these details will help create a complete profile page for you and help us cater to your information needs better.

Login access link is sent by email. Sometimes the email delivery may get delayed due to network issues. In case it is delayed for too long, you can click on the ‘FORGOT PASSWORD’ to receive the email again. Check your email for credentials

You can visit and click on ‘Forgot Password’ and enter your registered email address. You will then receive your User Id and Password on your registered email address.

Kindly make sure that you are using one of the approved browsers – preferably Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. Also make sure that your browser has been updated to the latest version. You can check on your version of the browser by going to the help tab on your browser and see if it is the latest version.

Also make sure that you clear the cache.

File upload issues can happen due to a number of reasons e.g. drop in connectivity, failed connection, incorrect file format or file size larger than recommended. You can upload files with a maximum size of 1MB each. If you need to compress the files, you can Click Here. Save the compressed file and then upload it.
