Attach your account to your profile, and the money will be immediately transferred to your account. EduMany allows you to set your own pricing has no connection to your budget.

EduMany doesn’t charge any hidden fees, but payment gateway commission fee are applicable. This has nothing to do with EduMany.

Course creators have complete ownership over the content they create on EduMany platform. EduMany does not claim any intellectual property rights over your materials, so anything you create and publish on our platform is 100% yours.

There is absolutely no kind of setup fee when you sign up and list your business for any of our plans and start a free trial.

Currently, we offer English site versions. Other languages coming soon.

No, we do not hold course creators funds. Unlike other systems, we grant you access to your funds as prescribed in our policy. The only exception is our commission fee for every sold course, the same is clearly mentioned in the membership package.

You don't need to attach a credit card to sign up on EduMany or use the free trial. For purchasing paid membership or premium services you could use a number of payment options allowed.

All prices clearly mention taxes applicable in INR.

No. All EduMany plans include secure, hosting for your digital listing. EduMany relies on great servers to ensure your microsite is reliable, fast, and secure.

Data security is of great importance to EduMany. Having implemented a secure-by-design architecture and following the best industry practices, we protect your data. Your database is safe with EduMany.

Yes. You can include your custom domain (not possible only in the free plan) in your listing. If you don’t have a domain, we will provide you with a free listing link which can be shared with your contacts.

You can easily switch plans (Upgrade or Downgrade) on EduMany whenever you want. 

Hopefully, you will like EduMany and won't make a decision to cancel the subscription. However, if that day comes, you can easily cancel your subscription from your dashboard at any time. There are no long-term commitments or complicated contracts.

If you cancel your subscription to EduMany and for instance, it happens to be in the middle of the month/year when you have already paid for the whole month/year, you will continue using all your features by the end of the month/year. The money you have already paid is not possible to transfer back.

There is no fee to list your business, and EduMany does not charge any transactional fees when delivering business leads posted on your listing to instructors. EduMany does, however, keep a percentage of each sale depending on the transaction & the revenue share is as per your Membership package. 

You are free to choose the topic you wish to teach on EduMany and by using our Marketplace Insights tool, you can learn more about demand for that topic (see below).

Restricted Topics

EduMany does not publish courses in some topic areas, or may publish only under certain criteria. Subject matter may be excluded due to concerns that it is considered either harmful or offensive to students, or because it is otherwise inconsistent with the values and spirit of EduMany.

We recommend that you reach out to the Trust & Safety team before building a course on any of the following topics to ensure it will be eligible for publication. Please include as much detail as possible. 

It is the instructor’s responsibility to ensure their course follows the letter and the spirit of the policy when submitting to the Quality Review Process. While the Trust & Safety Team will guide instructors around smaller fixes, extensive coaching on how to build or update a course is not available.

Sexuality

Sexually explicit content or content with implied sexual activity is not permitted. Content around reproductive health and intimate relationships must be free of explicit or suggestive content. See also: Nudity and Attire. 

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Instruction on seduction, sexual techniques, or performance
  • Discussion of sex toys

Examples that are allowed:

  • Safe sex courses
  • Consent and communication
Nudity and attire

Nudity is permitted only when essential to learning within an artistic, medical, or academic context. Attire should be appropriate to the subject area of instruction, without unnecessary emphasis on exposed body parts.

Examples that are allowed:

  • Fine art and figure drawing
  • Anatomical illustrations
  • Medical footage or demonstrations

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Boudoir photography
  • Naked yoga
  • Body art
Dating and relationships

Content on attraction, flirtation, courtship, etc. are not allowed. Any other courses on long-term relationships must be in accordance with all EduMany policies, including those involving Sexuality and Discriminatory Language.

Examples that are allowed:

  • Marital counseling
  • General discussions of intimacy within a course focused on strengthening overall relationship

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Stereotyping on gender roles 
Weapons instruction

Content providing instruction in the making, handling, or usage of firearms or air guns is not permitted. All other courses providing weapons instruction must otherwise adhere to all EduMany policy, including Violence and Bodily Harm.

Examples that are allowed:

  • How to disarm an attacker
Violence and bodily harm

Dangerous activities or behaviour likely to impact health or result in injury cannot be shown. Glorification or promotion of violence will not be tolerated. 

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Self harm
  • Substance Abuse
  • Unhealthy weight management practices
  • Extreme body modification
  • Combat courses encouraging disproportionate aggression

Examples that are allowed:

  • Martial arts courses
  • Recovery programs for substance abuse
Animal cruelty

Treatment of animals such as pets, livestock, game, etc. must be in accordance with the recommendations of relevant animal welfare organizations.

Discriminatory language or ideas

Content or conduct fostering discriminatory attitudes on the basis of a group characteristic such as race, religion, nationality, disability, gender identity, sex, or sexual orientation will not be tolerated on the platform.

Illegal or unethical activities

Content must be in accordance with any applicable national law. Activities which are illegal in many jurisdictions may also be disallowed, even if permitted within the uploader’s country of residence.

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Courses on cannabis use
  • Directions on cracking software access
  • Instruction in doxxing or other forms of harassment
Misinformation and misleading content

Instruction which is intentionally misleading or that promotes ideas in opposition to the consensus in scientific, medical, or academic communities should not be posted.

Examples that are not allowed:

  • Vaccine hesitancy
  • Fringe theories
Sensitive or otherwise inappropriate topics or language

As a global learning platform with learners ranging from casual hobbyists to professional enterprise customers, we must take into consideration many sensitivities when evaluating content. 

We will examine not only the kind of topic under discussion, but also how those topics are presented. When providing instruction on a sensitive subject area, ensure that all associated course materials treat that subject with care. Avoid language and imagery which is inflammatory, offensive or otherwise insensitive.

Content for young people

EduMany is not currently set up to support underage learners. Persons under the age of consent (for example, 13 in the US or 16 in Ireland) may not use the services. Those under 18 but above the age of consent may use the services only if a parent or guardian opens their account, handles any enrolments, and manages their account usage. 

As such, please ensure any subject matter oriented towards young students is clearly marketed to parents and guardians who will be supervising their learning.

How to report abuse

We reserve the right to add to and modify this list at any time. If you see a topic that you believe should not be on the platform, raise it for review by clicking “Report Error” at the bottom (footer) of the appropriate course landing page. 

With our Marketplace Insights we offer robust reporting on current courses listed, number of topics listed for the same course and pricing for a particular topic to help you decide what course to teach. If no data exists for a topic you’re searching, it likely means that there’s an opportunity to fill this gap in the EduMany marketplace and you should get started right away.

While success as an instructor on EduMany is not guaranteed, this tool offers some powerful data to help you make your decision.

Note: currently the Marketplace Insights tool can only search for course topics that are entered in English. Please enter English words in the search box.

There is no fee to list your business on EduMany. However to add your course you can use your wallet or use pay as you go options be an instructor on EduMany. Instructors are paid according to a revenue share model as specified in the membership chosen.

No approval is needed to get started. Before an instructor can publish a course on the EduMany marketplace, however, they need to complete the Signup process. You can then list your business followed by adding your offerings in the Elearn section.

In order to create paid courses, instructors will need to set up a payment method for their account (see "How will I get Paid" below).

Yes. Elearn Listing must have at least 3 minutes of video content and at least 5 download documents, lectures or learning modules.

In order to ensure that students have great learning experiences, we also have a Quality Review Process that every course goes through. 

Instructors can use various online payment or direct deposit (India only) to receive their payments. You are paid on a monthly basis on a cyclical basis.

What’s the general structure of an EduMany course? What is the primary teaching method?

A standard EduMany Elearn course is video-based. Additional teaching tools (like assignments, quizzes, and coding exercises, etc.) can be added to create a rich learning experience for students.

This section includes extensive resources on how you can create an EduMany Listing and get started. In addition, our free, How to Create an Online Course: The Official EduMany Course  outlines best practices to plan, produce, and publish a well-designed, high quality course.

Since we function primarily as an on-demand, video-based platform, you’ll need to upload your video files directly to EduMany. In other words, students must be able to view your course offering promotions on the EduMany platform.

In addition to our standard video uploader, we offer the ability to upload materials which your students can download.

No. Our marketplace model means that when you publish a course on our platform, you retain all the rights to your content.  You simply grant us a license to host the course and make it available to our users, and to advertise your course on our platform and on third party services.  

These license terms are outlined in detail in EduMany instructor terms Terms & Conditions You can also offer your course on other services, but we ask that your course is never offered for a lower price than on EduMany. Note that if your course is included in the EduMany Business content collection per the Promotions Policy there may be additional distribution restrictions.

As an instructor, you have the option to enrol in the EduMany Advertise with us Program. Every year, millions of students enrol in courses that are selected for promotion and discounted through the EduMany Deals Program.

While currently English is the predominant medium, most world languages will be introduced shortly as the home language for an EduMany course you teach, and you are welcome to create a course in any available one you wish. 

Anyone can create a free listing on EduMany.

If you want to charge students a fee for your courses, however, you will need to list your courses in the Elearn section. This will be a paid subscription and the process is usually completed within 2 business days.

You can also avail of premium subscription services to tag your listing to the top of search results and boost the visibility of your course display

Completing the Elearn Premium Instructor application

After you click on the Signup / Login on the Pricing page, you can complete your Listing application, by following these steps:

  • Enter your name or company name.
  • Include a 60 character headline, or quick description of your expertise.
  • Write a short bio.
  • Enter your billing address and phone number.
  • Upload a profile picture.
  • Accept EduMany Terms of Service and choose which membership program you would like to participate in.
  • Select your pay out method: various pay out mechanisms are listed
  • After your business listing has been submitted, be sure to return to your listing and now build your Elearn course display and select a price for it.

The minimum course requirements checklist

Below is a checklist of the minimum standards a course must have in order for it to be published on the EduMany platform. 

  • At least 3 minutes of video content
  • At least 1 separate lectures
  • HD video quality (720p or 1080p)
  • Audio that comes out of both channels and is synced to video
  • Audio quality that is not distracting to students
  • A unique course landing page
  • A course image in line with EduMany image standards
  • A course title and subtitle that includes relevant keywords
  • A course description with more than 200 words
  • A completed intended learners section
  • A complete instructor bio and profile picture

Test video service: we highly recommend you take advantage of various test video service to get assistance and feedback on audio and video quality early into the course creation process. This will help you feel confident about your recording setup before you record your course. 

EduMany seeks to create a sustainable partnership with instructors, where instructors are rewarded for creating amazing content and bringing students to the platform, and EduMany is rewarded for driving sales for our instructors.

There is no fee to create and host your business listing on EduMany. You can publish as many paid courses as you like using the pay as you go or wallet option.

Please note these are revenue shares on the Net Amount, which is the amount a student paid less any applicable taxes or fees.

  • Sales occurring through promotions:  instructors receive specified revenue when the student purchases their content using a coupon or referral link. The coupon or referral link policy is as specified in theTerms & Conditions
  • Sales that do not occur through a promotion:   instructors receive % of the revenue for any EduMany sales where no coupon or course referral link was used. These sales might occur after a user clicks on an EduMany advertisement, or browses the EduMany marketplace for courses.
  • EduMany commissions applicable are as specified in the membership packages chosen

Please note:

  • The summary above outlines the revenue share between EduMany and instructors for a given sale It does not factor in any additional revenue sharing that an instructor may have allocated for co-promoters, affiliates, coupons, promotions, discounts, sale etc.

Instructors can track all incoming sales in their Dashboard. Some of the information the report includes are the student name, the date of purchase, and the total price paid. All bookings received are reflected and tracked in the Bookings section, while Payments history can be tracked in the My Payouts section.
